Our oils

Single-Variety Raggia

Raggia is an olive cultivar native to the Marche, grown mainly in the province of Ancona: among the towns where it is most widespread are Morro d’Alba and Monte San Vito, which border San Marcello, where our olive groves are. Around Jesi it is also known as Mandolina.

The tree comes into production early, with medium-sized, elongated oval fruit that ripen from light green to violet black; the recommended harvest time is around mid-November.

Our single-variety Raggia is made exclusively from olives of this cultivar, taken to the mill shortly after harvest and processed solely by mechanical means. Unlike a blend, which combines several varieties, a single-variety oil tells the story of one cultivar and of the land where it grows.

It is used mainly raw: on vegetables and salads, bruschetta, mozzarella and fresh cheeses, fish, white meat, roasts and boiled meat.

Available in the 0.5 L bottle and the 0.25 L bottle, a handy size to try it or give it as a gift.
