Our oil
The 5 litre tin is the IL CONTE Blend size for families who use a lot of oil and for anyone who wants the season’s supply in a single pack: it has the best price per litre.
We make it from the olives of our own groves in San Marcello (AN), on the hills near Jesi, from four cultivars native to the Marche: Raggia, the typical variety of the area, Mignola, Rosciola and Orbetana.
The olives are taken to the mill shortly after harvest and the oil is obtained solely by mechanical means.
A large tin is opened and closed many times: to expose the oil to air as little as possible, refill a dark glass bottle for everyday use from time to time and keep the tin tightly closed in the pantry, away from light and heat.
